Better than any other fish locality on the island !!! Top quality, great price-performance ratio and an incomparable warm-hearted atmosphere. Stress-free, very tasty and fresh food without having to wait long for a free table. We have been on Sylt several times a year for years and, for whatever reason, never ended up with Fisch Matthiesen. Always went to the competitor with five letters and the other with four and thought that there was nothing better. Not even close! Thank you for everything - November will be safe.

Great selection, very friendly atmosphere and really tasty. Significantly better quality than the big competitor with the five letters. We were annoyed not to have bought there straight away. The next time ... It makes sense to arrive early, we came by before 5:00 p.m. to pick it up, there wasn't a big queue yet.

I tried myself through various counters - including Gosch - and have to say that there are by far the best fish rolls on Sylt! Actually a simple formula - a good roll and good fish. There are both here, I even got warm, freshly baked rolls. Super tasty, I drove to Hörnum again on the last day because of that!

Our favorite restaurant in Hörnum, everything is just right here: the fish is fresh and delicious, the dishes leave you with indulgent memories even days later, and the team is funny, courteous and professional. If you are lucky and spontaneously get a table during the season, you will wish you had reserved every day. But here too there are solutions: because the food is offered just as lovingly and delicious to take away. Here I sit on the train home and wish I could eat again at Fisch Matthiesen ... ❤️

Unfortunately, the tables in the evening were already reserved for our entire vacation time. So we got fish rolls a couple of times and of course we got fish to grill ourselves. Here you can find the most delicious fish dishes far and wide. Especially the fish rolls are really good. We recommend!

Top quality, expertly prepared, with a menu that makes you regret that the vacation only lasts six days. We were customers every day and enjoyed the excellent taste of the dishes and their fair prices every day. Here we were not the last satisfied Fisch Matthiesen fans.

Nice, small fish restaurant / snack which is worth a visit. If you want to get hold of one of the coveted seats for dinner, it is advisable to make a reservation. If you like fish here comes in any case at his expense. The price level is in the middle range.
